Can employees bring a friend or family member to a hearing?
Employees cannot bring a friend or family member to a disciplinary and grievance meeting unless they are also a part of your team. However, under Section 10 of the Employment Relations Act (1999), employees can be represented by a trade union representative or a colleague.
